Happy Valentines Day! I’m happy to report there was some headway made in the chapter I’m currently struggling on. Dermott was always to difficult to write as he literally spends all his time in a single workshop. Most of the time he’s alone with his thoughts. There’s just not a lot to interact with. I really want to stick with the character though.
I bought Cities: Skylines and it’s taken up all the rest of my free time this past weekend. I don’t really play a lot of video games, but every once in a while there’s one I really get into. I’m positive that once “Elden Ring” is released, the writing will slow down immensely.
My favourite thing about writing is that you can take breaks. Once you come back to the manuscript, you’re exactly where you left off. I’ll get back into the book once I’m done with Elden Ring.
With regards my job, things are pretty quiet since I’ve given in my notice. No point starting huge projects when I’m gone at the end of March. I’m spending my time at work these days cleaning up old files and preparing for my new position. It’s been a lot less hectic than normal, it’s really refreshing.
I hope everyone is having a good Valentines Day.
