Happy New Year everyone!

I think it’s safe to say the second book is on a hiatus. My new job that I started in early 2022 takes up so much time, and my family life is also busier than ever. Its times like this I’m glad the book has no fans! I can really just take my time with it.

I’ll always come back to writing, that’s always been the case since college when I wrote short stories online. I think about the series daily, but I just really don’t have time to put my head down and type out a few sentences. A big issue is whenever I do manage to get a moment to breathe, I’m just so fried and stressed out I can’t even fathom working on the book.

2023 is not going to be a good year for me. Between my very stressful work and family, I just don’t see myself having any free time at all.

I hope that things will get better by mid 2024. By that point I might have enough experience under my belt to secure a new job with better hours. Then I can finally get my head back above the water and enjoy life again.
